Jofre vs Olivares

    I saw your comment on YouTube and had to track this down. Luckily I found it not filmed off a TV screen ;)

    You'd hope so. I was thinking of finding out what that channel is in the top right hand corner, find out if they're still going in some form, send some emails or summat.....?

    I can see this as well, with that late 60's version of Olivares against a peak Jofre anything could happen, points either way, even ko either way. Jofre was a great fighter, possibly the greatest bantam but he would of had his hands full with Olivares, Castillo, Rose and Harada at any time in his career. Me dad always said that Harada might of given Olivares problems with his movement and he wouldn't of given Olivares the room to get those big shots off close up. Between Jofre and Olivares it all depends how much respect they show each other and how the fight pans out. Ruben could box beautifully when he wanted to. All the above fighters would of caused problems for each other and those that fought each other did.

    It depends on what night you got Ruben who made Duran look like angel with his partying ....But on a good night night Ruben had the sparkle Jofre consistent...prime vs Prime Ruben takes it
