    Kevin is in no way responsible for this fight not happening and he is not responsible for the replacement opponent either. What's he supposed to do? Turn down a payday he's trained weeks for?

    I dont think the board would sanction it, he must have a better record which his african promoter has provided and had verified...

    EDIT: Apparently his record is 11-1, so not as bad, but still poor.

    That makes it just about credible I suppose. I've still got the hump though, I've been watching Kevin since he was a schoolboy (I used to work with his sister and she made me;-) and was really looking forward to his first big test since the amateurs.

    don't forget tshifhiwa munyai was virtually unknown and only 11-0-1 when he was called in to fight for the commonwealth title against martin power at shortnotice....

    doubt anything similiar will happen this time though

    I cant beleave johanneson pulling out the board sould have stripped of the title and put steve foster jnr up for the fight,but thats far to risky for mitchell foster would easely ko him.....

    :lol::lol:

    What on earth suggests he would easily KO him? Mitchell has never looked to have anything other than a solid chin (admitedly against not great opposition) and Foster is not a particularly big puncher. Johannson is a much bigger puncher than Foster so if they were prepared to let Mitchell fight him then what suggests they would be scared of Foster?
