Frank Warren has always been about making the easy money

Khan is not going to progress at this rate - experience wise

look what happened with Enzo Maccarenelli promoted by Warren in some very easy fights and thrown in deep water v Haye

Warren knows Khan has a CHINA CHIN

he knows he is too vunrabable to take the truth path of a elite fighter and step up to the plate

so he is going to play the "milk the public" career path on Khan

Khan is going to be a protected fighter

all respect to that "bad egg" Michael Gomez for putting on a brave performance against Khan

but that fight there - shows some worrying signs - of Warrens faith and lack of ambition for Khan to recycle a old British War Horse in Gomez when Khan said he be Undisputed CHampion by now!

Warren is a con man and he will protect Khan shamelessly

It is up to Khan to man up in this case and leave Warren if necessary.

He doesn't fool me though - he knows he is a chinless wonder and would have been exposed by now had he fought genuine bonafide 135lb'ers.

Hell - a prime Gomez with punch resistance would have beaten him into next week.

It seems they have no real ambition other then to lift a paper title. Shame, he is a good fighter. I don't think he's planning a long career unless he's planning the Joe Calzaghe route to most meaningless title defences.

    Wrong.

I guarantee khan doesn't think this.
    No boxers should.

Whether it's accurate though, is another topic.

After the Jerry St Claire fight I thought he was moving in the right direction.

How many ex-champions are still in good enough shape?

With all this bitching about Khan nobody has actually suggested a viable opponent!

I'm strongly in favour of Murray - Khan but it ain't gonna happen for a couple of years at least so who else?

He's listed to fight Martin Gethin for the vacant English title, and was slated to fight Murray before injury kayoed that one.

I think it'd be a good contest myself - Fewkes beat Watson, who put Khan on his behind in the amateurs (i'm aware this doesn't mean much, but its good context).

At least Fewkes would be a natural lightweight.

Surprised no body has mentioned the ever amazing Stefano Zoff to be Khan's next opponent. It could be a mini classic but maybe a too large a step from Khan's last few opponents, remember Zoff did a better job on Kristjansen that even Khan did. These two fighters have to meet.

Hehe, Khan was on TV yestyerday saying he is beyond domestic level (even though he has never even been in the domestic mix) and says he wants to start fighting guys in the top 10.

If anything you khan always depend on Amir for a good chuckle with his 'open the mouth and let the belly rumble' statements

Where did everyone consider Graham Earl to be in the domestic rankings before Khan whooped him??
But i fully agree, like f**k Khan is above the domestic level yet He shoild fight Murray, Thaxton, Euro champ (i think Romanov is vacating) then wor;d champ
