Monzon knew he was cut out for the middleweight division, and was smart to remain where he was ideally suited.

Conteh was so good vs Ahumada, even Gil Clancy admitted one of his fighters lost. :yep

 

I think conteh was the better fighter.

 

I still maintain that Galindez would have beaten Conteh..he was more rugged and durable and not as fragile as Conteh was. He took a punch better and was stronger...a very, very good 15 round fighter and could counter you all night long...excellent stamina. Nothing against Conteh...i think he was an excellent fighter, b ut was somewhat of an underachiever. I think Conteh would have beaten Hopkins with relative ease as a matter of fact...but Galindez would have given him problems with his strength and counters.

 

Both Conteh and Galindez would have beaten Hopkins.
