Conteh at his best was leagues above Woods. He could win this with just the jab, but I think he would completely outclass Woods for a late rounds TKO. As tough and game as Woods was, he was better suited to a draining war of attrition than an upright boxing match. He performed much better against pressure fighters, and struggled to get anything going against Jones and Tarver.
Conteh by unanimous point s win , but woods gives s good account of himself .John though simply to good here .
Ferry, you must hate Woodsy. Conteh on another level, simply tenderizes overmatched Woods by 7th round stoppage.
IMHO, John Conteh is one of the most underrated fighters of recent times. At least he gets some of his just due on this specific section of this website.
