    John Conteh was a bit too smart and mobile for Jose Torres. Conteh would be pushed quite a bit, and would have had to respect Torres hand speed and power, but he would have escaped with the decision.

    John Conteh would weather a couple of tough rounds, and walk away with a unanimous verdict over a game, but overmatched Jose Torres.
