A lot of Conteh threads recently.Anyway i think Kessler would get beaten lopsidedly here.Quite possibly a stoppage after a beating.

Kessler is a fine standup boxer-puncher, but that's really not the way to beat a guy with the loose napoles-esque style someoen like Conteh had.Unless you have great power or physical advantages, neither of which the smaller kessler would have.

Rudi schmidtke was a good fighter who looked like he might establish himself as one of the better contenders, very similar style to kessler with a bit more supple upperbody movement, great jab and long right hand.He took a severe beating against Conteh in their fight that more or less finished his career.

Chris Finnegan was another standup guy, though more like a less talented(but sitll very good)Buchanan in style and was thoroughly outclassed and rocked several times despite a great jaw(this fight is up on youtube now).

I can't see Kessler getting his punches off though it would be a classy fight early, it'll become more or les one-sided quite quickly.
