John D Jackson on LEAVING KOVALEV FOR WARD: If Ward Had Met My Offer, Who Knows

What an incredibly misleading title. Jackson comes off as a level headed guy and says all the right things. Hopefully I got in to post before unnecessary blame starts pouring on the guy's head.

 

There is a followup video by Kovalev (where he speaks fairly well, on the level of many american born posters on here), and he says a priceless line : "look at the facts. We are still working together, so all these things you hear, they are bull****."

 

yeah, this is just a case of dirty pool from the ward side.

 

Kov's English has improved a lot.

Thanks for posting Kovalev's raply. Only thing that did not make sense was him saying he was also overtrained for Chilemba when it is common knowledge that he only trained for 3-4 weeks.

 

It'll be interesting to see where SK and JDJ go after the Ward fight, win, lose or draw.

 

The media will make evwerything seem crazy just to make an article and make money... Its all business..

 

that makes it even more probable. it means his body was doing some serious healing, up to and during the fight. 4 weeks is not enough to heal from the stress put on muscles by the training required for a 12rd fight.

 

Total bs Kovalev was running 14 miles in a day. I've had 12 mile ruck marches with 80 pounds of gear. There's no way Kov was doing that for a boxing match. Floyd doesn't even do that and he overtrains every fight.

We would easily do 5 or 10 weekly and once a year the big MANCHU 25 mile one

 

Trouble in paradise?

Tons of gamesmanship from Ward's camp. Signs of fear? Worry? Panic? Or a necessary evil to overcome an opponent who physically overpowers you?

 

we did 3 miles mon-thu, and 10 on fridays, on steep terrain.
