Jackson on how training camp is going:

“Well the preparation for Daniel Jacobs fight with Luis Arias is going very well. He’s on track and he’s doing the things that need to be done in order to be victorious in this fight. One of the main things that we’re working on is the body attack because Luis’ body attack is so tremendous. And Jacobs, while he’s good, he’s a decent fighter — he’s not what they think he is or what he’s made out to be. So the body attack is what we need in this fight.”

On their strategy for fighting Jacobs:

“...to be smart. Listen, break him down systematically. I won’t give you a game plan but he has to be smart and break Daniel down systematically, do what he does best, and just show the world what he does best and let Jacobs do what he thinks he does best — which is not a lot of much.

Just tune in on November 11th. You’re gonna see a very, very good fight between one promising future world champion and one guy who’s trying to stay on top. The fight fans need to realize Jacobs is good but he’s not as good as the public sees him to be because his manager Al Haymon has done a great job with him. So Luis will be victorious come November 11th.”

Arias is a sold fighter who could really get himself in the picture with a good performance. Glad HBO made Jacabs take a sold fight and did not sign off on a tailor made opponent to make Jacobs look good.

Arias had about 5 weeks notice for this fight, is that correct?

After the snake like way Jackson's been behaving like recently I'm amazed anyone still wants him in their corner.

People think Jacobs is very good? Didn't seem like there were many, until he came close to upsetting Golovkin by dint of some fairly basic boxing and a whole bunch of size.

I'm still not all that impressed by him. He's ok.

Jacobs is a good fighter but people have forgotten he was dropped and shaken by Sergio Mora!

I think Eddie would snatch Arias and keep going with him.
Same goes for Wach vs Miller.

Pretty sure Jacobs takes Arias apart. Such a huge step up for Arias, who in my idea has nothing more as a punchers chance.

i do smell an upset. after that bs he pulled vs ggg avoiding the next day weigh in or wat ever it was i didnt like him as much that was a dirty move. it was to his advantage it might have been smart but dirty. he knew he needed an advantage to make it close but it still wasnt enough.

i think the ggg fight made jacobs over confident lets see though

Arias is taylor made for Jacobs. It's funny that Arias will be Jacobs second best win behind Quillin.
