John David Jackson: Daniel Jacobs not as good as you think he is

You already predicted as such what I agree on. DJ gives a sub par performance and he will catch **** for it.

 

For clarification, I thought he lost against Golovkin. There weren't seven rounds I could give him. Close competitive fight though.

Well he is what he is. A big guy, with short arms. He has some handspeed, and quickness, but has trouble with head movement, as Arias showed last night. He also flails at times when he flurries on the inside, becoming a slapper. He's best against guys who are more straight up and down with no slickness, which is why I thought he would do well against Golovkin.

 

After seeing his repeated issues with head movement, and his ability to eat flush jabs, I don't think he would beat Canelo. He may win, but won't land enough flush showy shots to not get robbed on the scorecards.
