He has an excellent chin, and workrate. He never hurt Eastman much, but he wasn't hurt either, and he put more on Eastman than he got back. Impressive, he has a lot to offer.
BBCi interactive crashed as soon as Khan disposed of Earl. Why wasnt the Duddy fight on regular BBC or BBC3 or 4? Joke!
aye he looked impressive early on,but then started gettin caught in the later round as he forgot his head movement and started putting his hands down, but he wobbled eastman a few times, and i tell you what duddys chin, concrete, reminds me of steve collins!
in his interview the interviewer asked "so did the uppercuts hurt" these were pretty big uppers from eastman, duddy just turns round and goes "they did not",hes brilliant!!!
Duddy has a good chin. He has improved since the last time I seen him. He better keep those hands up though.
I wasnt impressed, Eastman is solid but he is 37 and no longer hungry, the fight was very close, Eastman landed more but with no power, Duddy needs to work on his defence.
Im glad to hear Duddy pulled it out, i was a little worried But he still shouldnt be fighting Pavlik next than i will be realy worried
Duddy was wide open for lefts, especially. But Eastman is no pushover, although at 37 he's not what he once was. What impressed me the most was Duddy's chin. Eastman hit him with some nice uppercuts and Duddy wasn't even stunned, let alone hurt, once. He is like Collins in some ways -- excellent chin, constantly busy. I was prepared to be disappointed but he fought well against his best competition to date. He was certainly not perfect, but he fought very well, I thought. They said Don Turner has improved him, and I'm sure Turner will improve him more. A good fight.
