LOL. Can't wait to see how Pavlik looks in his next fight. And I mean real fight with a worthy opponent. Not some bum. As for Duddy. He could go either way. I don't think you have to be unbeaten to have a good career. He could either get depressed and quit or learn from the bad night and become a better fighter. ( I think BHOP lost his very first Pro Fight)
i didnt actually see it so can not comment on the performance.but he needs to move down a weight imo.
Management ****ed up.A record built up by non contenders and leveraging their fighter for a money fight just flew out the window.
how dumb do they feel for not cashing him out a long time ago. He had opportunities but decided to keep fighting bums and he finally lost to one. Good bye big pay day.
It generally has to be pretty clear to have a judge NOT give a round to a guy with an OH. One judge saw it pretty heavily his way. The other two didn't get their envelope I guess.
Duddy is always getting hit, it doesn't matter what his opponent's record is. Anybody can beat him if they throw enough punches. Duddy never learned to move his head and this is the consequence.
...who was just laid out FLAT by Peter Manfredo. That's the level of Duddy. People made too much of him because he was white, Irish, and had a few highlight level KO's early in his career.
In all fairness, they guy should have always been at MW. He admitted that in the post fight interview. I think it was an honest assessment.
Most of you ESB guys are ****ing idiots and are quick to start dissing people cause a fighter they like lost. (I realize I have Duddy in my avatar, tyvm ) Who ever said Duddy was championship material? No one, ever. And whoever did, no one takes him seriously anyway. People know he is entertaining and makes good fights. And that's why he has fans. No one ever called him world class.
