Who loses hunger when your about to earn one of your top 2 career high paydays?

Lost a little bit of respect for John tonight.

Put JCC Jr. in against Lee. JCC Sr. should be shamed at the cowardice his son has shown, lee would be his toughest fight.

Depends how much money he's got at the moment. If he's been smart with what he's earned then he probably wont have to work again in his life. He probably knows Lee is a better fighter. If he's already thinking of retiring and is ok financially, why take the fight?

When is the last time you can honestly say he has looked interested, i think he lost his hunger a long time ago. He came back well to bead Walid Scmit but subsequently lost the opportunity to fight Pavlik, he hasnt look the same since. I think that was also around the time he fell out with the McLaughlins

Lol, Duddy already lost to JCC. No wonder he's retiring. If JCC Jr. beats Lee, he'll be the Irish killer.:rofl

He had one more fight in him, especially against a fellow Irishman and he could of won that fight.

As a Lee fan I'd happily welcome that fight.

Respect is a two way thing. What makes you think that your respect means a damn to a real man like Duddy? Frankly, he's way beyond a internet wanker who talks big on message boards.
Personally I think Duddy was taking far too many clean shots in his career. He's a fantastic fighter, but real life is more important than boxing and it's for the best that he gets out now when he's still young and has his health intact.
