John Duddy will never be an undefeated world champ. He will never beat the top tier fighters consistently. He will however put on a show like few others have done in the past. Granite chin and non stop puncing. What else could a fan ask for?

In a day where a 6-6 240lb Klitschko jab his was to a boring 12round decision and the #1 P4P fighter only cares about money and his precious "0", John Duddy is a breath of fresh air.

Keep swinging John! I will buy your fight any day over those other guys.

Duddy is very exciting no doubt but he hasn't got the equalizer of gatti. Dont think he's good enough to win a alphabet title IMO

don't hate on john duddy...you deserve to get slapped if you do. I mean honestly this guy isn't going around saying hes the best fighter in the world. The guy is just simply fighting and if he isn't good enough to beat A fighters then honestly who cares. He is willing to put his ass on the line and get ****ed up in a ring and he is exciting as he does it so that deserves respect. Besides what rather you see, an "A" level fighter in Wladamir in horrible fights or John Duddy fighting wars with C level competition???? nuff said.

Duddy is tough as nails and very entertaining, which means he's good for the sport. But he's a level below a prime Arturo Gatti.

Or at least he can be. I agree that Duddy just isn't good enough for it though. Gatti was at least able to be competitive with some B level fighters, often beating them. Duddy would probably get whooped by the B level guys.

Duddy has good feet co-ordination, puts em together and boxes well under control. What is this non-sense that he's going to be a living punch-bag? Just because he is open to some shots or cause he started the fight on the wrong foot, pressing on the inside and took some whole mighty punches from this heavy-handed slugger?
