Oh ****, get him a title shot then! :patsch

He has no business in the ring with Duddy. :-(

I've seen Lyell a couple times and he doesn't even come close to belonging in the ring with Duddy.

Wasn't saying he deserved a title shot!!! However, Billy WILL give Duddy a competitive fight. He's not a big puncher, but he has pretty good D and throws in volumes. Given the way Smitchet cut Duddy up, it is not out of the realm of possibility that Billy can do the same thing.

John Duddy for me is a fraud, i could name a dozen or so fighters from 154 and 160 who would beat him handily. I don't blame the guy for taking these fights though, he knows that a huge number of East Coast American Plastic Paddies will lap him up and he can make a lot more money than any other fighter with his ability could.

What i don't understand is why Andy Lee hasn't marketed himself like Duddy, as i can assure that Lee is twice the boxer Duddy is (providing he's learned the basic rules of how to infight).

I'm not Irish or anything, but this statement and classification of the Northeastern "Irish" is very accurate

What weight will the fight be at? Looks like Leyll has been up and down but down recently in weight. Duddy is going back to 154?

Lee twice the boxer Duddy is? What do you base that bold statement on? I'm also a little dissapointed that duddy hasn't landed a fight against Chavez Jnr, Foreman or another decent name but if these fights cannot presently be made i respect Duddy for staying active!
I don't believe that Duddy's career has been about marketing, he has just gone through a change in management partly because BIG fights weren't made for him. In particular the fight for the strap at 154.

It would be sensible to fight an average fighter if its his fight back down. Duddy needs to find out how his body copes at 154 before fighting a very risky fight.
