I'm basing it on what i've seen of both fighters. Up until the Vanda fight, every time i'd seen Duddy he just seemed to pile forward aimlessly, throwing as many punches as he can (without care to where or even if they were landing) and using his face as a defence. It was incredibly sloppy and any good boxer could have schooled him (A shot Howard Eastman beat him in my opinion). When i watched the Vanda fight, John had tightened up his game, but in doing so he lost the one thing that he had going for him - his incessant energy which wears opponents down.

On the other hand, Lee picks his punches beautifully and has good head and footwork. The loss to Vera was a setback, but to be honest i don't think it should have been stopped. I'm not saying he's World Champion level yet, but i think he's better than that Duddy.

Anyway it doesn't matter who's the better between the 2 of them cause Craig McEwan > Both :tong

I think Burns has a different style in mind for John. Watching Burns in the corner was as interesting as what happened in the ring. When he told Duddy he was doing well with his "anger management" I almost lost it. CLASSIC! But it also says a lot about what Burns is doing with John. Great corner in my opinion.

If this fight is at Middleweight I will be extremely disappointed, as the fight would be pointless. If it's between 154-156 it's okay, and hopefully it will mean Duddy moving down in weight and not looking for the Pavlik fight anymore. Any chance Duddy has of winning a title is down at Light-Middleweight.
