John Duddy vs Matt Vanda Feb 21 at the Garden!!!

He doesn't have to drop 6 lbs, John rarely comes in at 160 lbs nowdays, he's normally between 157-158.5

He's also said that his diet was never that strict and that he didn't have to dehydrate himself to make weight. If you look at him he looks much more like a very big Light-Middleweight than a regular Middleweight.

Duddy will make 154 okay, he's a much smaller man than Abraham or Pavlik and when you consider the size and power differences Duddy would be a lamb to the slaughter against both men, a damn tough, resilient, defiant lamb but a lamb none the less.

Haven't we already seen Duddy/pavlik(think gary lockett) although Duddy won't go down as easily as Lockett because of his strong chin which will probably render him a worse beating

 

I agree, this is a good comeback fight which could land Duddy a bigger fight at middle or at 154! It's great to see Duddy back after the long dispute and it is quite ambitious to fight the experienced Vanda! Adh mór Duddy

 

In 35 fights Pavlik has spent one half of one round on the back foot. Miranda, Taylor, and Hopkins could not back this mothe****er up, and you think Duddy canatsch

I'm just getting annoyed having to pick through so much crap to get some decent info. I think it started with all of the Pac/Hatton threads. Everyone had THE answer on how to save the fight. Same with Taylor/Froch. There was some good info, but it was drowned out by the incessant nattering of the genius keyboard promoter/managers here. atsch

I like Vincent keeping more of the middle weights in the public eye than just Pavlik, Abraham with a smattering of Sturm. That is a good thing. He even makes some good points. Then he says Duddy would have to back up Kelly? Maybe he is right. Problem is, he forgot to mention that ain't gonna happen.
