He fighting a club fighter this weekend and with a win he be right back in the thick of things but a title shot seems off for a while because for next 5 months Pavlik will busy fighting Mora and Abraham. So what is Duddy to do? fight low level club fighters till he gets his title shot or take on a top contender like Marco Antonio Rubio too earn his try at Pavlik? My hope is a Duddy vs Rubio war on the Pavlik vs Mora undercard.:good

either or Pavlik is gonna fight whoever has a belt at 160. he wants them all. It sucks for duddy that he cant get a shot at him for almost 2 yrs

Actually I think that being unable to get a shot at Pavlik in the near future is a good thing for Duddy.

If he stays active and works on his defence for a couple of years he could be a much better fighter. If he really wants to take on the very top guys, he needs a defence to go with his chin and his heart. It's one thing to take a whole load of punches against C level fighters, it's quite another to have Pavlik banging on your head all night. No matter how good your chin is, you can't let a power puncher catch you over and over again and hope to win.

Why whats your problenm with duddy?
I have never been fully convinced with duddy He never seems to win comfortable in that I mean he seems to damage himself heavily and cuts are a big danger. I went to the eastman fight and wasnt to impressed. I think after sat he should be stepping up a bit.

Duddy's best bet would be to bide his time and keep facing the type of competition that he currently is. Eventually, if he stays undefeated and keeps his fan following, he'll get a title shot and/or a big payday fight. Not too mention he could use the time to improve his skill set.
