    ...............................................

The fireball has just been quenched, stopped in 4 rounds. No idea around the circumstances if he was hurt or if it was a cut or what but that's a big loss for Fewkes and a very big win for Gethin.

Generally that's the case, but when Fewkes is concerned it could be him actually stopping someone for once

I apologised if I've ruined it in anyone for anyone.

I have looked at Boxrec and it seems that Matthew Hatton won as well.

So it seems he actually bothered to throw punches in this fight?

Looks like the main event may be an upset too. Martirosian is winning the 1st 2 rounds over Rendall Munroe

What the **** was up with him?

No way he should have lost to Gethin.

H8 to say it but i've always said fewkes is a 'dud' at championship level... Its ok doing all this Floyd Mayweather posing but you've got to have the substance to back it up. He thinks he is much better then he is and has no power. God knows how he stopped Kristaen Laight. I would say that round one of the Haywood Fewkes fight was the worst, most cringe worthy round of boxing i've ever seen.

Fewkes head is ****ed. Talked to someone who knows him last week and although I can not say anything much I am really surprised he actually turned up for the fight. No way was he ever going to win.

Hopefully he will take some time off and come back. The lad has alot of ability and has beaten a few very good guys, on form he would have beaten Gethin pretty easily and just about every other Lightweight in Britain apart from Limmond, Khan, Thaxton and Murray.

PM? He was pretty horrendous last night, as always nice, well picked punches but zero power and zero substance. I'd be interested to know the agravating factor.

I really can not tell because all that was said to me was that he was not right and the camp was not right. You know what goes on more than most. Very disapointed for Glyn Rhodes and Fewkes.

I have followed Fewkes and was disapointed not to be able to go watch this fight, not missed too many of his. He has the beating of any fighter who is not quick footed or powerful. This fight should have given us the chance to see his full talent, Gethin is good but built for Fewkes.
