I was wondering when Fury's camp was going to say something about that. Steward has done a lot of hanging around with Fury all over the world - strolling around together in robes and stuff like that. He's made a lot of money off Fury. But that moment is when, at the end of a long day, you probably shouldn't agree to do an interview. I think he spoke very honestly, but it might be over for him. Fury's dad has always wanted to train him, anyway. He's always lived vicariously through his son's accomplishments. John Fury was a journeyman nobody. His son is the best in the world. And John has acted like he's the champion ever since his son won. I'm sure John Fury can't wait until Steward is gone. But John and Tyson working together as trainer and fighter would be mutually destructive. Oh well, maybe Okolie was bring Steward some big paychecks?
Embarrassing. If Tyson sacked Sugar Hill then there will he hell to pay. The way Wilder treated Mark Breland was unforgivable Tyson doesn't listen to his dad when it comes to boxing anyway he is his own man. I don't think John has got along with any of Tyson's trainers excluding his amateur coach. John was right about the Wilder fight being too soon and trying to slim down is not the right approach but Tyson has learned and he didn't lose during the process.
John is living through his son. Both father and son are living in a fantasy world. John, Tyson and Frank Warren figured out how to play the public and how to rinse them and now the wheels are coming off the wagon with all the bad PR and people seeing through the "Gypsy King" and "Lineal HW Champion" nonsense. This is John having an insane tantrum. ....they almost pulled it off though, but as always, the truth found them eventually.
It wasn't so long ago that John Fury is filmed screaming "THIS MAN RIGHT HERE" Sugar. Is the best trainer in the world bar none, and now he is a Judas. John needs to put his knockoff halo away and be sensible especially at his age.
They can ONLY ever fight in Britain, then. John is not allowed to leave due to gouging a guy's eye out.
