Years ago I had a job interview and at the end the HR woman says, ok now tell me a 1 line statement that I can put on your form that will remind me of you when we come to do a final candidate review. I said “never throw water on a chip pan fire…..take your bloody face off” in the partridge voice.

The senior engineer that was also in on the interview then walks me out the building and laughs and says, yeah you got the job mate we love **** like that in this place. I replied “cash back”!

One of my tenants owed me 6 months rent on his scaffold yard, the economy had turned and he told me he decided to move back to Moldova and apologised saying he had no money so he would sign over his Sierra Cosworth and Jag XJS to me. Anyway I drove the xjs for a year or so and left the Cosworth in the yard.
Long story short he owed me 3k in rent, sold the xjs for 7k and the Cosworth (to a relative) for 10k…

 

True story: old friend of mine got a compensation payout from a work accident, bought a battered Porsche with it, did it up and made double. Bought another one and sold for 20, bought an even better one. He rented it out as a wedding car for men and made enough to buy some other cars and then a small taxi office. He won a taxi contract off another firm which turned out to be dodgy, following week all his cars got torched! It did him in so much he ended up in Carstairs (and as most Scots would tell you, that's the jail for unhinged people like John Fury, bringing it back to the thread...). Until all this the guy was a hospital porter...

 

Im not hundred percent sure here but I dont think PETER FURY was allowed into the US either . I know he wasn't fair the Cunningham fight. Want his trainer/cornerman Ben Davison? If not guessing Sugar Hill.
John seems to be concentrating on training his 2 younger sons, Tom and Roman. But im not sure he actually corners either.

Ive often wondered that too. At one time I thought he was the Aussie guy who fought Hyrgovic. Looks like him.. Then I thought he might be John Boy, the oldest brother who seems to be the low profile one. Not sure but maybe somebody else on the forum knows.

I actually dont think any trainer can affect Tyson's performance one way or the other.

 

Short and sweet. Best post so far I think. I dont use the word fan but ive valued Tyson Fury as a heavy from the very start. Said he would go farther than Dave Price and gave him a chance with Wlad. But this is the acid test. Ive a feeling he wont be ready for Usyk as early as February and one the fight wont come off or two he will lose on points.
Later in the year id say he could WIN on points. THEN we will have another long wait for the return. Either way. One thing for sure. Whenever or wherever it takes place, UAsyk will be ready, and wont be intimidated.
The subject of this discussion may well go on a rant but it wont make an atom of difference.
