If nothing comes during April about place and date I'd might just start to worry. But I can't see a problem as long as both parties want it, and I think they do even if things like this coming out makes me just a little bit worried.

    Just rewatched Takam AJ

    Classic British ref stoppage lmao.

Fury is going to BODY AJ. It's not even close. round 7/8. Maybe even earlier.

Ah yes the great Tyson Fury. The "Gypsy King" faster than Muhammad Ali, hits harder than George Foreman, and IQ equivalent to that of Albert Einstein. Femi Joshua has no chance.

Joshua has beaten nobody of note.
Shot Povekin, over the hill Wladimir, gatekeeper Whyte, 80 year old Pulev, a local plumber named Parker and got washed by a obese journeyman

Fury destroyed the hardest puncher in the division, schooled prime Wladimir Klitschko and beat down world champion Chisora. Fury has the better resume its not even debatable. THERE'S ONLY ONE TYSON FURY

Chisora got taken to school so bad its not even funny. And that says something because Chsiora got robbed against Whyte who is one of Ajs best wins. The fact that people think Aj will even last one round against Kronk Fury is insane. 280 pounds of inside fightiness. The best inside fighter since Riddick Bowe. Wilder is amazing on the inside, even better than Joshua and Fury destroyed Wilder so Joshua has no chance

He just wants to fight this summer.
Like you say, "they are trying" to secure a location and date for June/July. But sometimes "we are trying" isn't good enough. Put yourself in Fury's shoes, you'd be frustrated waiting too.

There's no evidence that he wants to move on and not take the fight.
But it is 100% understandable that is what he will do IF they don't deliver that date and location very soon.

Christ you do anything to reinforce your love for Fury and hatred of AJ don't you?

I don't understand you people that need to love one or the other, having blind bias for one and hatred for the other.

Why can't you respect both of them? They're both clearly the top 2 fighters at the moment.

Yup, but for Top Rank and Frank Warren to recoup that £80m and be profitable they can only put him in against a genuine contender(s). Otherwise its not financially viable. PPV figures are speculative as well. Tyson may just have to take the deal.

Or....if he was smart there would he a time expiry date written into the contract.

    I'm not making excuses.
I think some of you guys' hatred of Fury has obscured your thought process.

Fury hasn't fought in over 13 months. He's signed to fight AJ but no one has come up with a date and a venue. Hopefully this will be sorted soon.
But if it isn't, what should Fury do ? He wants his next fight this summer, no later.

Let's see them announce a June/July date for the fight, with location, in the next couple of weeks then.

If Fury walks out on an announced set fight, then sure, we can all start criticizing him.
But all that's happened so far is that he continues to wait, and you criticize him anyway.

I have absolutely no hatred for Fury. I admire him as a boxer ever since as an upcoming heavyweight he beat Derek Chisora in their first fight. I predicted he would take the title of Klitshcko and he would win both Wilder fights including winning the 2nd fight by knockout. I am a big fan of the Gypsy King I just believed he is going to lose by knockout against AJ. If he has not fought for 13 months whose fault is that? When AJ fought Pulev he had not fought for 13 months either so bloody what.

The point is, he wants to fight, as soon as possible.
Why do you have a problem with that ?
What exactly has Fury done wrong ? He's signed to fight AJ, he's agreed, and he's waited patiently for them to deliver the fight, and he's voiced his frustration, that's all.
He doesn't need "excuses", he's done nothing.

Do you not understand that if he pulls out of the AJ fight schedule for June/July 2021 and takes another fight instead the probability of that fight ever happening for the undisputed heavyweight championship will be gone forever. The sanctioning bodies are currently inside for this window but won’t be afterwards. There is also a chance either or both could potentially lose to the crop coming through like a Joe Joyce or Usyk to name a couple who are going to be a hard nights work for both guys.

IF he pulls out of a June/July fight, yes.
But if more weeks go by and the promoters start saying "could be August", "could be September", why should any of us believe any of it ? just wait for them to start saying "October, November" ?
Tyson Fury hasn't threatened to pull out. He's simply said if they can't deliver AJ, he wants a fight anyway. He wants two fights this year. I think that's fair enough.
