John Fury's interview on Joshua vs Fury

We are end of March. Only Fury is speaking about pulling out for a fight scheduled to take place in June/July and he had said previously he only needs 7-8 weeks to prepare. I think the realisation of what he is facing with AJ is dawning on him so he may want to avoid it.

 

I don't think he's speaking about pulling out.
He's saying there's no date and location so he doesn't even know if it's happening !

He wants the AJ fight. They both want it. It would be by far Fury's biggest payday. Can't see him not wanting all that money.

 

Maybe he needs to watch what he says and advice his Dad Big John to chill out instead of giving off negativity.

 

Of course they both want the fight. People on this forum get titillated by the idea of boxers being ‘scared’ of each other. It’s rarely the case. It’s more often than not promoters stalling things for one reason or another.

 

Venue sorted then?

 

I’ve been shouting this. If Fury is able to do this (not sure about the finer details in the contract) than why wouldn’t he? It makes perfect sense. Morally it’s perhaps a bit shady, but this is boxing. Arum isn’t exactly Mr Righteous.

 

It seems like the Fury-Wilder 3 contract thing hasn't been settled yet either.

 

Yes indeed. You can't forget the bomb squad may have a hand in this. Tyson won't be getting out of his obligations that's for sure! lol
