Can I get a rundown of this fight if anyone as seen it?

How both guys looked?...how it ended? Total domination or even fight or somewhere in between?

I can send you a copy if you like. PM me. Good fight but Green was dominant for the most part.

boy green landed a head butt that everybody with the exception of the ref saw and stracey's eye swelled so much the fight was swapped.
stracey looked like he was just going through the motions.

That's how I remember it, don't remember if was intentional but Stracey's eye closed shut and it impaired his vision. I think he struggled through quite a few rounds like this.
The fight was a sort of passing of the torch. Green, the new kid on the block taking over from Stracey. John only had one more fight about a year later beating Georges Warusful on points and called it a day. He was still relatively young.
    Wouldn't mind seeing it again.

i can remember seeing a photo in the paper.stracey looked every inch the star and looked very dapper, boy green looked like he'd just finished labouring on a farm:lol:
considering green had gone up a weight for the fight he looked a lot bigger

Stracey had a long amateur career[he was kod by Jim Watt in the ABA semis],and not far short of 50 pro fights[Green was his 50th], he was past his best when he met Green.
Green was allways" looking "with the head, and Gibbs did warn him.
If Stracey had been prime I think he would have beaten Green, the lump that came up on his forehead after the butt was bad and he seemed to lose heart.Green wanted it more, and ,was too strong.

Unfortunately no ,I have it on Video though.

I never saw Stracey in the flesh, but watched about 6 of Green's fights live.

stracey was past his best then, you are right.
one of green's best fights was against piedvache when he won the european crown and his worst ?? was against hansen when he lost the count:lol:
