To me, as nasty as both Santos and Jones looked, the KO of the night belonged to Doomsday. Roberts was an unknown quantity to me going in, but he looked like he was very sound technically and was doing some good work until Howard saw red and gored him with that modified GNP falling hook. That was a good fighter, just destroyed in an instant. I wasn't nearly as scared for Vera or Gonzaga in their moments of defeat as I was for that kid when his eyes glazed over. He hasn't lost in years (last to Dan Miller, no slouch) and has been in with solid competition...he's definitely a work in progress and seems to be pointed in the right direction. This is a local kid, too. It's good to see a Boston product make good (and especially one repping the town well without an obnoxious chowderhead accent). I look forward to seeing more of him, and hopefully will have the opportunity to do so live when the UFC comes to town this summer. :good
i was happy he ko'd him like that because in the beginning Doomsday tried to touch gloves and roberts tried to charge him while his hand was extended lol.
