John L. Sullivan Picture: an amazing find

    Scouring thru an old Dutchmans antique house near my summer place, I happened upon a fantastic find.

    I pick up a full front page I believe , of John L Sullivan gracing the page .

    I believe its a Boston or London newspaper.

    And best of all, its from 1887!!!

    I am in the process of having some restoration work done but the page is in fabulous condition.

    Its going under glass and in a frame for my den

    The worlds first sports superstar.

    Cant wait to get it done.

    Once I get it framed, I would be interested in checkin around for buyers. Ya never know what a collector might pay.

    omg John L Sullivan is my favorite fighter ever. I am also a boxing collector and I would happily buy this off of you.

    I'm from Toronto as well, How does $10,000 sound?

    its good that you're framing it. i'm sure you realize not to ever laminate the thing? that really cuts down the value of things apparently.
