John L Sullivan punching power vs Bob Fitzsimmons?

Johnson rated Fitz as the best heavyweight before himself,I don't know if he ever saw Mitchell? Fitz's resume makes me pick him to beat Mitchell, and I'd do so under any rules . Fitz prime with good hands would murder Mitchell imo

 

Where does this quote come from? Very interesting stuff, never knew John L. was willing to spill the beans about his technique. Do we have other examples of him explaining technique?

I’ve read Joe Choynski said that Sullivan was a much harder puncher than he was and that says a lot to me as Joe was a hell of a puncher.
