I'd like to see JLD fight the winner of Dawson-Conquest 2 or Keane or Simmons.

Never seen Stafford so no idea how good he is.

 

Mike Stafford is a decent boxer but nothing special. Went completely off the radar until recently. Lost to Billy Boyle who then went into journeyman mode and has lost every fight since.

If they want it to be in newcastle then it makes sense, there aint to many arenas in newcastle where you could have a boxing show.

 

Mike Stafford fight would be good on a Liverpool show, he is from Southport isn't he?

nothing against stafford but there are at least 7 fighters who deserve a shot more than him in this division

Does anyone see a Cruiser weight in this country giving JLD any sort of problems other than Conquest? Cant really think of another good Cruiser weight

 

They seemed to be hinting that JLD's next fight would be in Newcastle so fingers crossed this comes to fruition!

 

As for the fight, I've not seen Stafford but by the sounds of it this would be a routine defence for Dickinson. I'd prefer to see him take a tougher test.

Stafford is an area level fighter who has no business in a Lonsdale belt fight.

 

Looking at all those names i dont see any of them giving JLD massive problems if i am honest, i think the cruiser weight division is pretty poor, think JLD could take all those fighters to a pretty easy points victory
