Is no one allowed an opinion which differs to yours bully?

Don't think he was ever a multiple senior champion either way I have watched him boxed on many occasions and in my humble opinion he is not up to much. Wait till he actually has a fight against a guy with a pulse and see how he gets on.

I first remember Tommy box in the Scottish seniors back in 2009. He was robbed that year in the prelims. He had some bad luck over the years losing close fights to George Thompson, Grant Quigley and Kieran Smith. The only year he ever won the seniors was in 2015 at 91kgs, a weight which he clearly was not in great shape but had the tools to get the job done. He won many district titles and boxed on the international scene through the years. Tommy is a good fighter and an all round good guy, I hope he does well.

i apologise for coming across a dick but tommy has won 3 x junior and 1 x senior championship
Tommy is sparring Brophy regular and he's world top 10 so will improve week after week
Imo he will simply have way to much for John and I'm looking forward to them boxing each other

Which fights is it you've seen him out of interest?

I've seen every one of his pro fights and each time he seems to improve. Kelvin Young and Carl Wild on Saturday night were his best performances to date.

He's dropping to 168 and looking in great shape physically.

Plus the good thing about Tommy is he's desperate for these type of fights and wants these challenges.

You're entitled to your opinion but I have to disagree, I think he has great potential and ability.

Tommy is a talented lad who came to my gym with many faults, badly overweight and lacking in confidence.
In 7 weeks he's corrected a lot of his wrongs, weighed in at his career lightest and fitter he says than ever before and will shift a further 6lbs for his fight with John and the guy is buzzing about the future, I'm a happy coach.

Witnessed him box over numerous amateur contests and a few of the mgm shows. I stand by my opinion that he's very limited.

Kelvin Young has been beaten 8 times and knocked out on each occasion and the lad wild beaten 27 times, defeating these guys really is something to be basing a measured opinion of a fighters ability on, imo of course.

McCallum is full of shite, hes been ko'd numerous times in the gyms up here, windsor, pagan, black and even funnier his old coach at the time Colin McNeil dropped him.
The man is a FANTASIST everyone has a story to tell about him and his catalouge of lies.
Just for the record Philbin sparred John in the Lochend gym and after being beaten up by Philbin he stormed out the gym and hasnt returned.

Well, you're entitled to your opinion. It was his ninth fight and I'd say those two names aren't too bad at this stage.

Plus it was originally meant to be Grant Quigley who you've probably seen from the amateurs but unfortunately pulled out.

Next it's meant to be McCallum but we'll see if he actually gets in the ring.

Here's his last fight if you missed it.

What a horrible negative person you are. Very bitter! You should want to see scottish boxers succeed.

Shame the Quigley fight did not happen, not his fault and hopefully mcallum does box him!!!
