Am i the only one that thinks those odds are crazy generous? Thats going on my treble with a couple of home banker football sides over the rest of the weekend. Any thoughts on the boxing or suggestions for two decent priced home bankers (not a would-be squash match like Man Utd v QPR for example) would be very much appreciated. BHop on points, Newcastle to beat Stoke and Forest to beat Wolves landed me £180 profit for my £20 stake last week, gonna keep going with this type of bet and see how i get on.
I'm not sure.... on the face of it you'd probably say it is generous. But McDermott is a nervous kind of character, he'll be mindful that Skelton wasted him inside a round the first time out. Saying that, he looked scared shitless against Larry and then wiped him out in seconds, I was pretty close to ringside for that one, proper shocked. Even though Skelton is like 100 years old, he's still a capable operator at the right sort of level, showing Dallas up as being genuinely ****ing ****, as opposed to just average. He's more than capable of beating McDermott I think.
Skelton's a hard man and a proud warrior, certainly not to be underestimated. Could go either way in my opinion, with maybe an ever so slight edge to John "the body" McDermott. If the odds were reversed i'd back Skelton. Just think 9/4 (i ended up only getting 2/1 :twisted is on the generous side for what i see as more or less a pickem fight. Prime for Prime - did Big John ever have a physical prime? :rofl - obviously Skelton better but at 45 years old i think it's 50/50.
