    Boom.

Car crash in the middle of the ring.

    Who would take the decision?

    ....

Okay, that wasn't funny. Two massive hitters at middleweight. I see Roldan forcing the fight up close and Mugabi launching thunderous looping counters that would dent a building.

Juan Roldan TKO5 in a massive war. He's the shorter puncher, and I always like that in a puncher vs puncher matchup.

What I want to know is why the hell did this never happen in real life?

what a crazy fight. It is hard to pick since not many guys had to deal with Roldan's style. I have to go with Mugabi. I few months ago I think I thought it would be Roldan when I thought about it, but now I changed. John was more durable. Roldan had a huge punch, but he went down easily and almost looked like he wanted to quit. Each time against Hagler,Hearns,Nunn he went down and sort of packed it in mentally.

Mugabi's braintrust weren't exactly what you'd call risk takers.

I think Mugabi hit so hard, and was precise enough that he would force Roldan to respect him. Still, Roldan would have mauled, smothered, and slugged Mugabi en route to a TKO, probably more around the 8th or 9th round.

I'll go with Mugabi. I think John had better skills.

Mugabi might just edge Juan, barely, but that strength that Juan had would be a huge problem for John to overcome, and that would help him last against Mugabi by slowing him down.
