    Did this guy reach his potential, or was there more of The Beast that we didn't get to see?

    i think that right hand took him as far as it was gonna. hagler seemed to ruin him but he probably just peaked at that night. without more to his game, he was going to lose at the elite level 9 times out of 10

    Truth is, Mugabi was flawed from the getgo, yet powerful between 147 to 160 pounds.... Hagler ruined him mentally and somewhat physically.... Mugabi's WBC win over Rene JACQUOT in '89 means zippo in my eyes, I could kick Jaquout's ass myself... Yes, Mugabi was a "Fun Fighter" at best, but not really elite in skills come the world class level between 154 to 160 pounds as a pro.....
