i think rios would destroy murray in 4 to 5 rounds murray has stook to domestic level for to long due to his lack of footwork and not a great deal of head movment he'd get hurt up against a class act

Not at lightweight anyway or at light welter.

also think he stays in the pocket too long.

    exciting fighter all the same!

Murray does not have world class potential. Best Murray can hope for, is to catch a weaker champ who's style cooperates with his style, that is the only way he will ever pick up a world title, if he catches one of these Euro, stroke fringe world class contenders who have been fortunate to be in the right place at the right time to grab a belt.

Someone like Kotelnik, would box the ears off Murray. That's the problem for him. Nevermind better movers than Kotelnik.

Also a problem could be, say he meets someone who will oblige him, most pressure types have more power than Murray.

I think the fact that his trainer came out and dismissed Ortiz as an opponent and suggested Juan Diaz instead shows that it isn't just Mick Hennessey's fault he's going nowhere.

Murray has done great with what he has got...:good He is a gutsy tenacious fighter, who works very very hard...:good

When he boxes someone at his level who can jab and move he will really struggle because of his engrained style...:deal

He's a good strong fighter but I don't think he's world class, he can be outboxed. Hope he moved forward next year though I think a fight with Rees would be great to watch.
