Couldn't agree more. These young fighters shout off their mouths and when it comes to stepping up to the plate at the higher levels they hit their pants. When are they gona learn.

Murray doesn't have the promoter, the personality or a fan base to make this even remotely 'sell-able' to the public. He'd probably fill Leigh Sports Centre or summat.

Beating Prescott was a far bigger win than anything Murray has managed so far, even if it ended up with Mitchell being overhyped to **** :deal

 

I take that with a pinch of salt but I would like to see limond given a shot.

What are the chances of a Limond vs Mitchell fight. A lot of people seem to have written Willie off and I could see that being a decent fight.

 

I agree with you about Murray having zero fan base and Mitchell being a far more sellable fight due to the Prescott win and Warren etc. But I meant purely from boxing terms amongst us lot here who are talking about this. Prescott is not a bigger win than Thaxton or McAllister. Granted Thaxton was a bit past it, but it's a better name than Prescott.

For me Prescott is a nothing fighter and it is a really poor loss on Khans part.

For me Mitchell was being overhyped purely off that one win. For us lot on here niether win was that impressive really. Thaxton was well past it and Prescott should never in a million years beat Khan.

To the general public though the Prescott win was a great move by Warren. Especially since losing Khan.

Either way, Murray would get hammered by Kats IMO and he should concentrate on doing the Euro route for a bit yet. He's only just won the belt against a very average fighter (In Regards to the rest of Europe). Seems to be getting a bit carried away with it.

Murray is quite delusional to be honest. He may have a good chin but he is not the fighter he is claiming to be. The opposition murray has fought look good because he makes them look good as he takes loads of shots then finishes them off. If mitchell or khan fought murrays opponents they would demolish his opponents and make them look poor then people would say they fight bums. If murray fights kats then his career his over I really hope he doesnt coz he is quite entertaining but trust me will take serious punishment and get hurt very badly.
