    Well, I guess his injury is pretty legit. Nicky Cook is going to leave the ring on a stretcher. :lol:

    I guess, may'be I shouldn't laugh, because may'be it really is very serious, but this is pathetic. C'mon, this is a world title fight. You can't have fighters hobbling around the ring with a bad back and they can't even fight for a minute.

    8th left from Huck, Garay responds with a combo of his own. hard left hook by Huck, Garay the one coming forward again, doing more. Hard attck Huck that hurts Garay but recovers quickly and goes on with his thing... even round I guess. 10-10 even

    9th
    Tables seem to have turned, now Huck is coming forward and Garay responding with hard counters. End of the round is for Garay in my book but a quiet uneventful round. 10-9 Garay

    Alright, so to recap. We had a boring 12 round fight, and a 1 round farce. Let's hope Murray-Mitchell can redeem this card and put on a crack er of a fight.

    I thought after the Burns-Cook fight they would show some highlights of the Gavin fight, but I guess not. Murray-Mitchell should be walking into the ring in about 5 minutes or so.

    I know its harsh but Cook's purse should be revoked for that. He must have known how serious the injury was and should have pulled out. Instead the paying fans and Ricky Burns got conned.

    Well, you called the suspicious early stoppage before it happened, good one.

    I'm sure they were going to, but then the fight ensued and special interest had its way.

    Rooouunnnnnd 1. Both look focused and ready. Mitchell lead left hook and right hand. Not messing around. Murray misses with a right. Mitchell fighting off the back foot. Murray nice right hand, Mitchell back with a left hook. Mitchell on the ropes lands a couple of uppercuts, and circles away. Murray fires a right hand misses. Mitchell with a couple of jabs. Lands. Murray walking forward, Mitchell on the back foot. Back on the ropes, big uppercut by Mitchell. Right hand by Murray. In close, Mitchell right hand, circles away.

    10-9 Mitchell.

    Mitchell on his toes jabbing, Murray misses a right, Mitchell lands a jab, Murray misses with a right. Good right by Murray, Mitchell lands a jab, hook and and uppercut. He circles away, Murray misses a left hook badly, Mitchell dances away. Murray backs Mitchell up against the ropes, Mitchell getting hammerd now BIG RIGHT HAND BY MURRAY MITCHELL VERY BUZZED! HOLDS ON! Mitchell on his toes again, Murray tagging him now though, Mitchell on the ropes, Murray landing at will! GREAT ROUND 1-1.

    Minute and half into the round and Mitchell is on his toes jabbing nicely, Murray not landing. Big right hand catches the attention of Mitchell, and now Mitchell is in close, Murray doing nice work inside. Mitchell slipping punches backs out lands a left hook and and uppercut. Murray getting inside work again, Mitchell really using a lot of energy bouncing up and down, head movement and such.

    2-1 Murray.
