"He says Breidis Prescott was his best fight and he had a year lay-off before that. But I think the way he lost to Katsidis and having a year off at the same time is going to affect him. It’s going to affect his confidence and I think Kevin is one of those fighters who fights on his confidence. If I go in there straight away and knock his confidence, I can knock him out. He’s only boxed at lightweight twice before, one was against Prescott, who’s overrated because of the Khan win and the other time against Katsidis who wasn’t a world champion, just a top 10 rated lightweight. I’m really confident going into this; I’m number two in the WBC, four in The Ring and top 10 in every other governing body. I’m confident I can knock Kevin out."
