I understand John Murray is on ITV.

Does this mean there is no chance of Khan fighting Murray?

Unfortunately, this makes a Khan-Murray fight even more unlikely in the near future. If Hennessy had stayed with Sky then maybe Sky would have forced the fight.

At least it'll be nice to see Murray get some exposure on free tv and make the public realise that Khan isn't the be-all and end-all in terms of British prospects.

Apparently he's fighting Aberdeen's 2 weight world champion Lee McAllister.

    Is this true?

    I hope Murray ices him.

It is true, and he should be good enough to stop him.

do not under estimate mcallister .he will be murrays hardest fight yet,
murray is a bit like mcallister as he realy hasnt been tested yet,
ok his last fight he did very well and i was impressed with john,
but his opponent had nothing to offer that night he was a shot fighter,
mcallister is as big as john and every bit as strong and hes a mover which will cause murray lots of problems.
great matck up for the fans, should be a great fight,i see it going all the way

Miguel Angel Munguia gave Murray by far his toughest fight so far, it was much, much closer than the card suggested. Very durable guy, relentless with his attack, textbook punches and employed a very simple but effective defensive guard.

Al Hamidi gave him a tough fight aswell. very lucky to escape that with his record unblemished.

Yep. Looking forward to Murray vs McAlister on ITV4 sometime. Murray has looked very good at times but drifts out of fights against weak opposition.

Murray vs Khan is no loss.

Aberdeens Mcallister vacted his two WBU belts mate.he left brendan ingle promotions and has moved to tommy gilmore(barry hearn) ,he has just become a father.I get the impression he is wanting to get serious about his career.hes done the wbu thing, and now is going down the british title root

i would like to seem him in with Khan,i genuinly thing he would give him a run ...if you look at khans record and mcallister record i think that mcallister has gfought slightly better fighters.
