I would love this to be John Murray's next fight, hopefully free on ITV, what with Hennessey Promotions looking for a new broadcaster now they have ended their contract with Sky. I think Murray outpoints Prescott with a few scares along the way.:deal

This would be a great fight to watch and a great fight for both to make. I would still love to see Murray vs Khan but Murray needs to step up in career above that level. The fight could be made. We do not really know how good Prescott is even though he destroyed Khan.

prescot aint that good, its jut khan made it easy for him..

if muray can take him power which he probably could then he'd probs out brawl him to win

i say prescott finishes murray within four and i think murray is a wicked fighter.
he can win if he boxes on the outside.

prescott is the george foreman of the lightweights. a swarmer wont beat him. the guy was rocking amir with jabs man!!.

i dont see amir winning a world title let alone 3 world titles. i feel sorry for him. i hope he mentally and physically recovers.
khan has very fragile/light bones, maybe thats why he is so fast but cant take much in return. God knows

Jesus H Christ, we still know as little as Prescott as we did before. In fact he didn't even look good. He was crude and threw haymakers. The only thing we really learnt (had confirmed) was that Amir has no chin or defence.

I'd bet Prescott turns out to be a Maussa type.

Loverly fight, I'll watch it... as long as it's not PPV.

Murray has a decent chin, certainly a step up from Khan anyway :rofl

So now we know both of Amir's nadirs.....

    Long armed bangers
    Pressure fighters

Murray is a pressure fighter ala Gomez, but slightly less reckless and perhaps more power on the weight.

Murray vs Prescott would be an interesting encounter - pressure fighter vs banger, but can Prescott take a shot or fight on the inside?

Those 54 seconds didn't prove anything - though that was hardly his fault!

Yep. This is maybe the most exciting fight that can be made at the moment and one that I guess we would all be humping to see.

Murray is fighting McAllister in December i'm pretty sure. It would be interesting to see who Prescott fights next, probably be someone over in America i'd imagine.

Hopefully a British promoter will get hold of him. I can not see him being backed any where else so a Brit is probably his best bet at furthering his career. Not had a look at who of the domestic scene he could fight, pretty sure most of our lightweights have fights sorted but maybe he could move up in weight and fight a decent Light Welter. Where is Ajose when you need him?
