At Lightweight? Murray takes Hatton out, mainly because Hatton would be a corpse at the weight.

 

totally agree why would Hatton take the fight at that weight ? Why would he take the fight anyways ?

Man, I used to be a Hatton hater on here back in the day, but my goodness even I am shocked at how far Hattons stock has fallen on here, its like an anti-Hatton virus has descended onto brit ESB, & everyone is catching it.
Khan beats Hatton, Murray beats Hatton, Hatton is fat again between fights so should retire, he got KO'd by Pac so should retire, hes loaded with cash so should retire...

Talk about writing a guy off out of hand for the crime of losing to the best of the best...

Maybe Im old school, but the boxing fan of today seems to be so impatient, & quick to write off a fighter cos of a defeat, its Arthur is done cos he lost his comeback fight, Hatton should retire cos Pac Ko'd him, whats with everyone wanting to see fighters retire nowadays if they lose???

 

The question says if the fight was made at lightweight come on mate Murray will seriously hurt him at lightweight.

 

I thought he meant light welter, the l & the w & all that.

 

If the fight is made at Light Welter then i think Hatton has a chance with anybody at the weight, if he hits Khan on the chin at that weight he will stretch him.

 

why would it even happen? Hatton would win at any other weight anyway

 

Yh Murray would probably win coz hatton would be a weight drained mess at lightweight, one punch would probably send him into a coma !!

Its a pathetic fight at Lightweight, John Murray's a stocky lad, if he went up to LWW he'd get his head pounded in, his style suits Hatton down to the ground...

He'd get chewed up and bullied about the ring

 

Totally agree with you, he stretches anyone he hits decent, especially Khan, but he aint got a punch resistance anymore, shame, all the bad living has caught up with him.

 

Hatton would beaten to all corners of the ring then stopped by half way but if he wants to finish in a war then this fight would be great. Murray is never going to be world class so Hatton will believe himself to still be good enough to win.

 

Murray is just a sub-standard copy of Hatton, and in my opinion has absolutely no chance at all at LWW...he is just too slow, one dimensional and therefore very predictable, any form of Hatton would turn Murray into burger meat.

The idea of a fight at LW is just ******ed.
