You guys were right there in 1984 after the LA Olympics, but two guys names Shawn O'Sullivan and Willie De Witt KILLED Ontario boxing. Or I should say Simon Brown and Bert Cooper did. I think every %90 of the gyms in the province must have closed after they got embarrassed on national TV.

Yeah, I'm sure they have lovely ladies there, but they seem like the type of people who are always telling you what's good for you, from what I have experienced.

    Hey, maybe she's still single.

That's funny. Good ole' Anton. Suposedly he told Jane Mansfield, when she left him that she would be dead and decapitated within a year. 364 days later she was driving along a tree-lined avenue in her pink cadillac convertible...

I think she popped out like half a dozen kids, got very fat, and runs a horse farm or something.

And by I think I mean I remember from the last time I e-stalked her a few years ago.

Weird dodgy stuff went on, was living under a different identity and when called out about it on social media would pretend that everything she did in her younger goth beauty queen days was in fact done by her emotionally unstable identical cousin (shit you not, this is real life, not the script of a soap opera) with a different name who now lives with her sister in the countryside and doesn't use the internet. :duh ****ing ****-show.

Still has me all messed up from the age of 18...hard to believe that was half my life ago. ****.

After some reflection I rate the 06-09 Tua similar to 99-03 Tyson. Definitely had seen better days but still a threat to all but the elite. He seemed motivated during that run and who knows? Maybe could have had a Cinderella man moment had he be given a shot at one of the beltholders during that time frame. I mean.... Brewster, Peter, White Wolf with their style give Tua a great chance... Then of course there's Briggs who I'd favor him to flatten. Tua may have an annoying click of cult fanboys who overrate him.... But anyone who considers themselves an honest boxing fan can't look at his career and the landscape of the era's he fought in and not reach the conclusion that he was unlucky to not taste gold at least once.

Oh yeah, even heading into the first battle with 2 Gunz he was still a top 5 heavyweight in the world h2h, just with that equalizer left hook and that insane chin of his alone. The guy was never a complete fighter by any means but he definitely had enough to reach the mountaintop, had plenty on his end actually, only thing he was missing was luck.

"There's no such thing as luck in boxing."

Pineapple head's career would suggest otherwise! I don't think he was ever a top 15 HW in the world h2h and yet he tasted gold not once but TWICE. Once in a fight that he clearly lost to an ancient Foreman and the other to a White Wolf who had boxed circles around him for almost the full duration but had one of the worst collapses in boxing history in the 2nd half of the 12th round.

Tua (one-handed plodder that he was, and I say that with much love for the man) >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Briggs. :deal:
