John Riel Reponte Casimero is a 5'4 25 year old Flyweight with a 21-2 13 KO's 1 KO loss record. Born in Ormoc City, Leyte, Philippines and fighting out of Cebu City, Cebu, Philippines. This tiny little Pinoy Warrior may not have the slickest or fanciest skillset in the world, in fact he's quite sloppy, he pretty much swings for the fences with almost every shot, but he also happens to be a very exciting for that very reason. Yes he has 2 losses but I wouldn't consider them to be that embarrassing, one is a SD loss to Ramon Hirales who was almost unbeaten at the time himself, since then he's gone on to be KO'd by Chocolatito. And the other being a 5th round TKO to South African Moruti Mthalane who was far more experienced and had far more KO's than Casimero at the time. Pacquiao shows that Filipinos shouldn't be written off after a KO they can come back and be a ATG, not that John Riel will come anywhere close, but he shouldn't be overlooked either. After he KO loss he came back with a vengeance and stopped Argentine Luis Lazarte in the 10th round which let to the biggest Boxing riot in Argentine history with Casimero ending being hit by folding thrown from the crowd. Now Casimero is going to get his big chance he's going up against Zou Shiming conquerer the dullard Amnat Ruenroeng in June and I for one will be rooting for him. So do yourself a favor and Check Out 4 Aces Casimero.:ggg:ggg:ggg:ggg

Love Casimero, the forgotten man at 112lbs. Spiteful puncher, great speed and really high level of skill...

BTW you've put the Santos video up twice and no link to the Guevara fight!

Goddamn it:conf I was going to post the Salguero match in one of the Santos spots and I was debating which one was the better quality (the second one) and posted them both and forgot to delete one.
And the Guevara I wanted to post but its Dailymotion.

JC is a r0ad warrior think he's going to Thailand to fight the champ.

He's fought in Africa, Argentina,Uruguay, Mexico. But not in Amerca although he trains in America.

reckon he fights the monster in Japan in the future.

Definitely one of my favorite fighters as of this moment. He has a swagger and aura about him when he fights, so fun to watch. Hopefully he'll be able to put up a good performance against Amnat in June.

Realistically how much of a chance do you give him? I'm hoping for the best but not very optimistic.

I would rate Casimero as the slight underdog. Amnat is a slick fighter, extremely smart, so he'll be hard to hit. But Casimero is extremely versatile concerning his offensive ****nal and I'll think he'll have a good chance to win rounds based on his activity. I think it will end up in a tight decision through twelve, depends on what the judges like

Sadly for Casimero the fight looks like it's set for Bangkok... Personally I rate Thailand as the hardest place for a visitor to get the win and with the conditions there... Casimero will need a KO...
