It's called CONNECTIONS, the story of Ruiz's career. From the moment King first maneuvered him into his first undeserved title shot to this latest travesty, to the hands off treatment he got for his illegal and disgraceful holding tactics, Ruiz has been a FRAUD - a glorified clubfighter who got where he was because of his connections to powerful promoters. No matter, the snow job ends soon. Haye is gonna Tua-ize this fraud again soon.
Well I posted on here way back before the Valuev fight that Haye should have 2 defenses before fighting either Klitschko, against his mandatory and a top 10 guy, and I still believe this today. Haye made a name for himself calling out the Klitschko's, got some headlines, pulled out because of Setanta/injury/financial issues, good on him. Haye will fight either Klitschko at some point, you're too bloody impatient. Mayweather - Mosley should have happened years ago, it didn't. Lewis - Holyfield should have happened years before it did. Tyson - Lewis should have happened years before it did. SRL - Hagler should have happened years before it did. Hopkins - Jones II should have happened years ago. I could go on all day, be patient, it'll happen.
all the time? when the **** was the last one? i will tell you when, when wlad fought sultan in 2008 and before that probably in 1999 when holyfield fought Lewis ruiz is top 10 according to you...but hes not #1 by any means dummy youre a simple fan who knows jack **** about boxing. david haye called the damn brothers out for almost 2 years, gets fights with both and pulls out of both, not im an ******* because i think he should fight them now and not 3 years after he wanted to? have a good night moron..go rest that brain....:rofl
good points and i agree with the his schedule had he not called these guys out, had 50 plus thousand seats already sold and basically said "umm just kidding" how do you not look at haye as a blowhard for all the **** talking, and he did alot...he was gonna do this and that and he bails on both? financial or not, he made a deal and didnt back it up and that just looks bad for your character and rep if nothing else. yeah, i know hes making money, blah blah, good business move blah blah. (and for the record, if you dig back in my old posts, you will see how i thought haye was great for the game with the shirts, the hype, sitting ringside for their fights messing with them, it was great. i even said haye would beat vitali but have trouble with wlad) but he bailed on both of them. and thats the bottom line. people throw the word "duck" around on these boards alot. theres got to be a word for what he did. call them, they accept, he bails. and now he fights ruiz. sorry if i cant get excited. but look what happens when you wait too long..vitali is already falling apart looking like ****. he has no one to fight, so how this builds interest after vitali is coming off boring wins against kingpin johnson and fighting a guy now that just lost a 8 round decision to zuri lawrence (14 losses) 18 months ago. the fight is going down in value as we speak
See I look at it the other way. Haye had to back out from the Klitschko fight, the minute the Valuev fight was a possibility Haye had, more money + a title with far less risk. If he took either Klitschko on the risk/reward factor was weighing heavily in the risk side. He pisses people off running his mouth I know, I hate Mayweather for the same reason, but what we can't deny is it get people interested. He isn't running, nor chicken, if Setanta hadn't gone under we'd have had our fight already. It's just that he's doing what most boxers do today, putting money before legacy, going more with the reward factor than risk. Haye will fight Ruiz+ one other this year I believe, so hopefully Vitali can hold onto 2011, if not I'll be more than happy with Wlad.
Void/Haye fans hate Vitali and Vladimir Klitschko, plus Boytsov and any Euro fighter who exists, including Euro descendants of such. They appeared to have been successful in having a writ-in campaign to boycott all Klitschko fights now and in the future. It is extremely doubtful that any Klitschko fight will ever be shown on USTV ever again.
the fact that he's the number one contender for anything is proof that the heavyweight division is royalled screwed these days.
