I always thought he did but in this interview he said he doesn't, so it must be true because Boxers don't lie. Here's the link- http://www.fightnews.com/fightnews_2/headlines//EkElEuyZVEwPnIcaHa.html
:rofl :rofl :rofl This is just too funny. It must be a sad day for John Ruiz when he has to prove he doesn't hug.
To be fair he seems to sort of be admitting that he did used to hold and clinch but doesn't anymore. Which can only be a bad thing for him seeing as he's a **** fighter and his whole style is based around boring his opponent to death and making them feel uncomfortable with his excessive hugging.
I agree. He says, "Then, finally, they will realize that I don't fight like I used to; no more clutching and grabbing for me." He's not saying he never held. He is just saying he won't hold from now on.
Its like when I found my daughter with her hand in the cookie jar and she said her sister was taking the cookie not her. Ruiz.... "I don't hold...they do" :huh :huh :huh what a joke
He did admit he held, he is saying he does not now. His last few fights have been overseas and untelevised. I have not seen his last two fights, but I have been told that McCline and Valuev were the huggers.
Maybe he prefers to call it dry humping, slow dancing, heavy petting or prime time ****.... I belive it when I see it.
are you guys so blind you can't read?!? ... the guy plainly states he dosnt hold anymore that he used to ... jesus christ read the ****
What do people expect from a proven cheater, who not only used these illegal tactics - with King's help - to annex a title illegitimately, but also even more disgracefully, faked "low blows" to "win" fights several times?? Once a cheater, always a cheater - and a LIAR. What a disgrace Ruiz is! atsch
and im sure he is telling the truth cause he would never LIE to the media. After watching him basically dry hump the other guys, its hard for us to believe that he has changed that much
