i didnt see the fight and i read the same thing. mccline was the one doing a lot of the clutching. i knew ruiz would be mccline. mccline was never that good. i mean for a guy that had no amateur experience and started boxing in his latw 20's he wasnt bad. he had a solid career and im sure made some good money but ruiz was the better fighter going in. i would have been shocked to see ruiz lose this one

id like ruiz to fight the chagaev valuev winner seeing how he wont get a shot at the WBC for a while. i say ruiz beats valuev on a rematch and versus chagaev im not to sure

I agree. In my opinion, he beat Valuev pretty clearly in the first match-up, and would do the same in a rematch. As for Chagaev, it's be a toss up. Ruiz fought very well against him at times, and could take it. But If Ruslan beats Valuev, he will have gained even more steam going in.

Ruiz outclassed Mcline in that fight. Thought I didnt see the first six rounds. In the last six rounds Mcline was taken to school. Holding was mostly done by Mcline while Ruiz consererated combination punching and match domination.

The Tua fight was so unfair. All Ruiz wanted to do was hug, but that merciless thug just wailed away with punches, totally unprovoked. What an evil human being Tua is. :yep

I´m a big Ruiz hater and basher but I still felt Ruiz would win against McCline. McCline just finds ways to lose - he lacks some kind of a quality, probably confidence or killer instinct.

I wouldn't be surprised if he beats Wlad with all that hugging.

Wlad's recent fights have displayed an even less agressive style than that of Ruiz. More clinching, holding his left arm out sraight the entire fight, and less punching. I wouldn't be surprised if Jawny outpointed Wlad.

Ruiz is on a mission, won't stop until he's on the top. Let that be a warning to the chumps holding his belts.

Wlad... Wlad... He's coming for you...

Look at everybody....... They're scared.... Scared of the real man.... He'll hug you til you love him, ***gots...

Hearing someone call him Jawny again, after all these years brings a tear to my eye, as it was ol Stoney who called him that.......

This is an interesting story. I don't suppose you have any proof, do you?

King gets options on nearly every heavyweight that fights one of his fighters for the title. He had/has Golota.Rahman. I believe (not positive) he had Kirk Johnson. Does anybody know if he had Holyfield at the time of their fights? So if its true "King pulls the string and official dance", WHY would he not pull them so one orf his more popular fighters could win the title and make him more money?

Lol, more BS. King still promotes Ruiz. And if he sucks so bad, why did both Valuev and Chageav struggle so bad against him for? Yeah, he's not the best to watch. But the kid has heart, he takes on the best and he overacheives!
