John Ruiz is coming back to save boxing!!!

Since Ike now weighs 400 lbs I think the Quietman would dominate and win by mid round stoppage.:yep

 

This fight would shatter the record set by even the most sleep inducing clinch fests in the history of the sport.

 

Ike woulda knocked him out, too. If you look at Ruiz's record, he avoided guys with power. After the Tua fight, once King manuevered him into the rankings, the only guy he fought that could remotely be called a power-puncher was Rahman, who came into their fight grossly out of shape - and is overrated as a puncher anyway, because of the Lewis fight.

Why do people think Ruiz holds all the time. Yeah, I know he has NO skills, but that's only part of it. It's ALSO because he doesn't take the greatest punch. Ibeabuchi would've annihilated him.

I think Ruiz's style would have frustrated Ike enough so he could win a decision.Ike would have a chance in the fight if he landed a lucky punch like Tua did.:smoke

 

Hence the sneakiness of his power: it's so sneaky, you don't even realise you were hurt. In fact, it's as if you weren't, but refs know better.

 

I went to the doctor the other day and I told him I was having a hard time falling asleep. He gave me a dvd set, and on the cover was the title "The Best of John Ruiz Fights". So that night I put the dvd in, and what do you know I was asleep in no time at all. I would recommend to anyone having trouble falling asleep at night to get the "Best of John Ruiz Fight" on dvd.

Put it this way: if the boxer I'm talking about is a joke and embarassment to the sport, I'm probably joking.

 

Gotcha....you never know around here though. You wouldn't think ANY boxing fan who knows anything about the sport would take Ruiz seriously, but a few actually do! atsch
