This guy is a really good Heavyweight. Ruiz is a Two Time WBA Heavyweight Champion of the World! And a lot of people thought he got robbed against Valuev. I consider this a more dangerous fight than Valuev because Ruiz is a bigger puncher than Valuev and quicker. This was extremely impressive win for Haye, Ruiz is top class.

Toney is way better than Ruiz and so is Fast Eddie.

He also look so afull against Adnan Sedin in Valuev vs Haye undercard.

So I bet that any top-30 heavy would have great change to beat him today

Toney is washed up and he needed steroids to beat Ruiz. Fast Eddie is untested. Dimitrenko sucks, Peters was out of shape and underestimated him.

Did people actually see his last fight?

He has no change against Thompson, Arreolla, Chambers, Toney or even Johnson.

I bet there is more who I forgot.

Haye will KO him easily in rounds 1-4

In other words Ruiz hasn't had a win over a top opponent since 2004 when he beat Golota.

He beat Mccline by decision in 2008. From 2004 until 2008 was not good, I will give you that. But he looked very good against Jamal Mccline.

McCline in 2008 was not a top opponent.Good but not top.

Face it,Ruiz hasn't beaten anyone worth mentioning in 6-7 years time in which he managed to lose to 2 former middleweights.

He did appear to be in good physical shape with Serin but his performance was average.

Terry you realize Ruiz has ONE proper KO in a decade? ONE. He is awful and has no power. Eddie Chambers is by far the best American Heavyweight.

This is called let's cover all our bases just in case Ruiz somehow wins, or make the victory appear more impressive than it really is. While Ruiz is certainly no bum, he hasn't been a real top ten fighter for years. Fact is, Valuev was always overrated, and can you please name me a single top fighter Ruiz ever beat in their prime? No one. SInce he's destruction at the hands of Tua, Ruiz became little more than a survivor when it came to competing with the big boys. He knows how to hang on and force a close decision, but little more than that. :patsch
