I'd like to see a tournament between Arreola, Chambers, Ruiz and Thompson to decide who the best American heavy actually is. You could probably argue for having Johnson in there instead of Ruiz Povetkin
Well for starters he already KO'ed Chagaev who did much better agains your so called TOP HW Valuev, and he did so in a very onesided match. It could have been Valuev but he refused the offer to fight Wlad. And what does is prove that Valuev may be the best Russian HW right now? So Peter ist Nigerias best HW does this make him a better boxer somehow?
Okay...Well, that's your book. Best thing to do is to keep it to yourself. Because...nobody else has read that book, and nobody seems to agree with any:goodthing you're saying.
Ruiz isn't the best American Heavyweight :nono FightNews ranks them as follows: 1. Wladimir Klitschko 2. Vitali Klitschko 3. Alexander Povetkin 4. David Haye 5. Eddie Chambers (USA) 6. Chris Arreola (USA) 7. Ruslan Chagaev 8. Nikolai Valuev 9. Alexander Dimitrenko 10. Denis Boytsov 11. Evander Holyfield (USA) 12. Oleg Maskaev 13. Brian Minto (USA) 14. Sam Peter 15. Kevin Johnson (USA) 16. Odlanier Solis
The Valuev fight wasn't a robbery, friend. It was a horrible, lousy, excruciating fight....for the viewer. But it wasn't a robbery. The thing about Ruiz is that he has a survival strategy that allows him to always be in contention against contenders and untalented title holders like Valuev. But, any time he step up, he is not only beaten, but embarassed. The Roy Jones fight really did invalidate anyone who claims that Ruiz is a talented or even a very good fighter. I mean, when you get your ass kicked by a middle weight, it's time to retire...that is if you have any pride or self-respect.
The fact that David Haye is trying to put off a fight with Ruiz cannot be a surprise to anyone. Such a move has been "On the cards" since he won the title!
If Wlad beats Povetkin he should only get about the same amount of credit that Haye got for beating Valuev by decision. Povetkin and Valuev have about the same level of boxing skills, I think we all could agree to that, right.
Ignoring the issue of Puerto Rican sovereignty/nationality, Ruiz was born and raised in Massachusetts. He's American.
this...man golota got a raw deal in those title bouts with ruiz and chris byrd..both of them he clearly won in my opinion
