john ruiz my favorite warrior

I like Ruiz too.
He fears no one, and will fight anyone. That is rare among today's fighters.

 

John would get Tua'd again.

 

Easy to do, if what you do is to CHEAT against them, and use your connections with a powerful promoter to get away with it.:yep

 

Calling a cheating fraud like Ruiz a 'warrior' is a joke and farce. Ruiz is no warrior.

When Tua shattered his China Chin in 19 seconds that brought on the jab and grab octopus style. HBO has said they will NEVER air another Ruiz fight that is how bad he is.

 

Even though his style is excrutiating, and he was the beneficiary of several very dubious decisions, Ruiz made the most of what he had, and has some nice, legitimate wins over some decent fighters.

Plus he seems like a decent enough sort outside of the ring, even though Stone's a total *****.

Could do worse for a favorite fighter, I suppose. :good

Ps. Your idol lost to a LHWT & it was terribly one sided.

To each their own but I like Erik Morales personally of all the fighters, I feel there is just a tiny wee bit more to admire than in Ruiz.
