    John Ruiz is a really good boxer, but he gets so much critism because of his style of boxing. Who are you to judge a fighter on his style of fighting that suits him best? Huh, thats what I want to know!!

    The Quiet Man has some good wins, and I think he was a better champion than Valuev.

    Thats very true! Ruiz is very underated! and i think he will come confident and well prepared to fight david haye!
    David should win this if he doesnt take him lightly! but if he does haye is in a long night!

    **** John Ruiz in his boring fight, constant whinging ass.

    He's like the Jason Voorhees of the HW division because it is so utterly dire.

    I will forever remember him in his pimp outfit for the Roy Jones fight.

    Ruiz is a cheater and a fraud. His "wins" are anything but "good." Excessive holding isn;'t a "style" - it's a violation of the basic rules of the sport. And overacting to force bogus "low blow" calls is just disgraceful.

    The Ruiz Fraud is a stain on the history of the HW division.

    I am unbiased. I don't play favorites. And I always tell it like it is!

    John Ruiz is a highly decorated multiple time World Champion. David Hayes victory over him will be really impressive, should he beat such a skilled fighter.

    John Ruiz has never lost a fight by disqualification. What about that? huh

    I don't see how holding all the time is cheating? Ruiz has a nice little style of throw a few quick short punches, hold, and repeat over and over. I am not going to deny that he is one dimensional, but it is an effective dimension.
