I favor Peter in this one. Ruiz has trouble against shorter guys. He lost to Tua, Jones and Toney. I think Peter takes him out in 3-4 rounds give or take one or two.
Ruiz has nowhere to go. He'll get beaten on the outside by harder punches. He'll get beaten on the inside with harder punches. Lastly, he can't clinch because he'll be beaten by rabbit punches. Peter in 5.
Ruiz likes to crouch and bend. And Peter loves to hit to the back of the head. Sam Peter would knock the back of his head through his face.
What's the antecedent? Are you advocating Golota get a chance to fight Ruiz or to fight Peter? And if the latter, are you nucking futs? Do you remember what happens every time Andy gets in there with an aggressive hard puncher? Anyway, save your incredulity, as far as I know, the Ruiz-Peter match-up is hypothetical. Doesn't Sam have to wait for Vitali to injure himself in training camp again?
I´d love seeing Ruiz on the canvas courtesy of a Nigerian made haymaker punch - to the back of the head or otherwise, makes little difference to me as long as Ruiz doesn´t win by DQ.
